Forgot sunscreen or a drink for the day? Need the bathroom? Walk within seconds back to the house from the beach and grab it. The front porch of our home is enclosed to allow you to enjoy your cup of morning coffee or evening glass of wine with a side of sunshine and mountain views independent of the weather. Great for families or a couples getaway, our cottage can be a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, electric range, toaster, and coffeemaker - we will provide dish soap, hand soap, a roll of paper towels and toilet paper. We ask that you bring your own beach and bath towels. We have a flat screen tv in the living area space with Blu-ray DVD player and also a host of movies to choose from. There are also a few board games, uno, deck of cards, and beach toys for you to enjoy as well. There are two queen bedrooms to fit 4 people/ 2 couples comfortably on the first floor. There is a full bath on the main level with a tub and a shower. The upstairs is a large bedroom with a queen bed and an additional twin to accommodate additional guests or kids. There is also an additional half bath upstairs. There is a fire pit and picnic table on the front yard to enjoy outdoor dining and s’mores. This home means so much to our family, we have created so many wonderful memories here and we hope you will do the same! This beautifully restored camp sits right on the lake with a dock, a beach and a boat buoy. The camp is in a private quiet location. The whole cabin was just restored in 2012. There is a large screened in porch on the front that is great for family dinners and just relaxing on a warm summer's day. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs with 3 double beds.There is a full bathroom downstairs and a half bath upstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a propane fireplace to take the chill off in the evenings. The cabin has cable TV , DVD player, wireless internet, a stereo system and a telephone. There is a gas barbecue, canoe and row boat in the garage for your use. The cabin is located in the northeast kingdom of Vermont. There are many trails to hike and bike. Several smaller lakes to explore There are a antiquing opportunities along with local farmer's markets, cheese makers and maple sugaring operations to see.

Vacation Station is brought to you by the owners of the Honey Moon Cottage (Homeaway #4011055) just 3 cottages away up a private dirt drive! Both cottages share the same private beach and are quiet, private and dog friendly! Vacation Station was built in the 1930's as part of the Edgewood Park Resort on Lake Willoughby in Westmore, Vermont. This small family association had more than a dozen cottages complete with a roller rink, mess hall, tennis courts, sandy beach and activities reminiscent of the Patrick Swayze movie Dirty Dancing. Only a handful of these summer cottages have stood the test of time, and thankfully Vacation Station - so called because of the antique train which chugs the length of the loft and extends around living room ceiling - is one of them! The first round of renovations happened in 2019. We jacked the house and put it on a new foundation. We also renovated the main bath and turned the old outdoor shower with dressing room into a private master bath. We also added a deck with outdoor shower attached to the second bedroom. Out back, we created a seating area with grill and picnic table off the deck and put in a private yard with firepit and seating area behind the barn. A smart tv and wifi were also added. The second round of renovations happens in Spring 2021 with a renovated kitchen, screen porch, dining room and downstairs bedrooms and rewiring and insulation in the kids' loft to help keep the cottage cool in summer and warm in fall. Enjoy 2 bedrooms on the ground floor--the master has it's own small private bath. Between the two large bedrooms is a large bathroom with a refurbished clawfoot tub, plus an outdoor shower off the deck. The third sleeping space is a large loft overlooking the living room for the kids with a twin bed and nightstand at each end! Outside enjoy the back deck with gas grill, an outdoor table and benches. Behind the house, there is a large detached barn. In years to come, we hope to renovate the second floor studio apartment designed for overflow. We will not normally rent this, and it is not available by itself but if you find you have more people coming to Vacation Station than you originally had thought, you are welcome to inquire about it's availability one it is ready to show!

2000 square foot camp with all cedar wood interior. 4.6 acres (all grass field) 16 foot high ceiling. Located about 2 miles from north beach and 2 miles from wheeler mountain. Big wrap around porch with one section screened in. Fire pit, horse shoe pits, bbq also has washer and dryer. No waterfront access unfortunately. It’s in a pretty private area, not a lot of road traffic. Dogs are ok. Lots of hiking within a short drive of property. This an actually sleep more than 6. There’s 2 queen sized beds, 1 twin, 3 large couches 1 which folds out to a bed.

Sitting on top of a knoll which overlooks the lake to the famous Willoughby Gap and mountains, this comfy cottage rests at the end of a short dead-end dirt road so it received ZERO through traffic. With all the amenities needed to make it the perfect seasonal getaway for family and friends, why stay anywhere else in Vermont! The Honeymoon Cottage has a cozy dining table with umbrella on the deck with great morning views perfect for enjoying a quick breakfast before you head down to the sandy beach to the lake for swimming, fishing or boating. We keep our canoe at the beach and you are welcome to use it -- or bring your own boat as the public fishing access is only a mile away with free parking. There's also ample seating around the firepit - the perfect place for a sunset bonfire. The fishing access with boat launch is just minutes down the road and there are two large public beaches in addition to our small private one. There are several small country stores where you can stock up on fishing supplies, beach gear or just stop for a pizza, soft serve ice cream or deli sandwich and a bar and restaurant nearby. You do not have to drive into town!

Our house is a Victorian farmhouse that we purchased at auction in 1999 and lovingly renovated over the past 20 years. Originally built in the 1800’s, we have outfitted the home with modern conveniences, while trying to preserve its original charm. The farmhouse sits on 17 acres, abutting 100 acres of cornfield in the Vermont Land Use Program which ensures the land can never be developed. We raise dogs in the original three story horse barn. We also have a large organic garden each summer. Looking toward the river, you would not guess you were only a a short walk to the post office, pharmacy, restaurants and the grocery store just a block away. The house is located on the edge of the small village of West Burke, less than 10 minutes from Burke Mountain and the famous mountain biking Kingdom Trails to the south, and to the stunning Willoughby Lake to the north. We’re offering a comfortable, pet and kid-friendly, A-frame log cabin surrounded by 30 acres of pristine Appalachian woodland to explore and hike. We also have a 6 acre front yard complete with a 1 acre pond you are welcome to fish and relax by. For dinner, you can head to The Parker Pie Company, a gourmet pizza parlor which features locally-crafted beers, live music, and a distinctly ‘Vermontish’ dining experience. ~ SEASONAL SUGGESTIONS ~ Vermont has many exciting locales and attractions available anytime of the year, but if you're not sure where to start, here are some of our personal recommendations! FALL ~ Admire Vermont’s beautiful autumn colors, go apple picking, and hunt for the perfect pumpkin. To get some of the best views of Vermont's foliage, ride the Aerial Tram at the Jay Peak Ski Resort which is open year-round. Our personal favorite - sample the hot apple cider and cider donuts at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Waterbury! WINTER ~ Snowshoe, snowmobile, and alpine or cross-country ski around the beautiful winter landscape. Our home is located about one mile from the VAST snowmobiling trail for easy access. The nearest ski resorts are Jay Peak and Burke Mountain. Don't forget to try our world-renowned maple syrup during local Sugar-on-Snow get-togethers. SPRING ~ Fly-fish Vermont’s rivers, go golfing, or hike the Green Mountain range. Fish for bass, trout, and sturgeon in Lake Memphremagog. We don't have so much a "spring" season as a mud season, so if you’re feeling adventurous, take an ATV and mudbog! SUMMER ~ Swim, boat, and fish at Crystal Lake and Lake Willoughby. There are several blueberry and raspberry picking areas nearby as well. In Barton you can attend the Orleans County Fair which runs through mid-August. You can also beat the heat at Jay Peak Ski Resort's fully enclosed water park in Jay or visit the world famous Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory in Waterbury. We hope you enjoy your stay!

This custom built 4 bedroom log cabin is located in an extremely private setting on 40 acres of property with a large swimming pond and beautiful views of this gorgeous, unspoiled corner of Vermont. The property is off a dead end road and near hundreds of acres of conserved land so it is a true get away. If you can't travel without your hair dryer than this isn't the place for you, but if you love the great outdoors this rustic retreat is sure to please. One king bed, one queen(in the loft), a double and 4 bunks provide ample sleeping for two families in 3 bedrooms and a loft. This home is off-grid so it is rustic, but well equipped with a gas fridge, gas stove and a solar powered electrical system with a back up generator. One bathroom with a double shower and huge tub provide a perfect solution to the sore muscles that are inevitable after a long day of mountain biking on the Kingdom Trails in East Burke, VT or summiting one of the area peaks.

Privacy & nature. Lots of walking paths on many acres of land. Although it is secluded, you are only 2 miles from town with a convenient grocery store. The private pond is clean and spring fed, so it is enjoyable for swimming, paddling, rowing or floating. We are conveniently located 1.5 miles off the Interstate 91, so traveling is very easy to visit many places in the area. The house used to be a late 1700's tavern for the settlers of the area to get a meal and room to sleep the night while traveling the Hinman Settlers Road. We are in West Burke! Locking “ bike bunk” for secure bike storage! 2BD, sleeps four privately. 1 Queen bed in first bedroom, 2 twin beds in second bedroom. The sofa in the living room could accommodate an extra person but is not a pull-out sofa . The living room also has a smart flat screen t.v. We have Satellite TV with over 120 channels. The kitchen is fully equipped for eating in, with a bistro table for 2 and a dining table that will seat 4. There is plenty of outside space if you have extra guests with tents, extra charges will apply, just let me know!! The apartment is over our garage and the garage is detached from the house. There is a private entrance, outside space, and plenty of parking. Including parking for snowmobile trailers. You are more than welcome to use the hose at the back of our house to rinse off your bikes! Gaskell Hill Rd. is a quiet dirt road with amazing views of the surrounding mountains including Burke Mountain. We are close to the VAST trail, within 6 miles of Burke Mountain, and close to the Kingdom Trails for all-season fun!! There is a great outside space with picnic table, Adirondack chairs , hammock and a gas grill. The entry deck also has a small bistro set. There are also horse-shoe pits and a fire pit in the back yard.

Frog Rock Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath home location on quiet dead end dirt road surrounded by forests and streams. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck, the screened in front porch, or cozied up on the couch. Although off the beaten path you will have access to WIFI, 40 inch Smart TV, and a full sized washer & dryer. Enjoy making smores around the campfire anytime of year as this is a 4 season cabin.
